Casio FX-82MS Scientific Calculator – 240 Functions (1st Edition)

The Casio FX-82MS Scientific Calculator is a time-tested, dependable mathematical tool relied on by secondary school students, engineering candidates, accountants, and educators across Kenya. Renowned for its classic 1st-edition design and robust build quality, the Casio FX-82MS Scientific Calculator offers 240 pre-programmed functions tailored for general mathematics, physics, chemistry, and statistics. Whether preparing for classroom exercises or writing final national examinations, this non-programmable scientific calculator provides speed, accuracy, and ease of use.

Clear Two-Line LCD Display for Easy Formula Verification

A standout feature of the Casio FX-82MS Scientific Calculator is its multi-line LCD screen. The top line displays the complete mathematical formula or equation, while the bottom line shows the calculated result simultaneously.

This two-line layout allows students to check their multi-step inputs for typing mistakes, edit numbers using the replay key, and confirm complex calculations without starting from scratch. By enabling quick step-by-step verification, it drastically reduces entry errors during high-pressure timed tests.

Essential 240 Built-In Mathematical & Statistical Functions

Equipped with 240 comprehensive computing options, the Casio FX-82MS Scientific Calculator covers all core mathematical requirements across high school and undergraduate syllabi:

• Algebraic & Fractional Calculations: Multi-step fraction operations, percentage calculations, powers, square roots, and logarithmic functions.

• Trigonometry & Geometry: Standard trigonometric and inverse functions (Sin, Cos, Tan) with quick switching between degrees, radians, and grads.

• Statistics & Regression Analysis: Single-variable (S-VAR) and two-variable data analysis, standard deviation computations, sum values, and linear regression models.

• Permutations & Combinations: Instant calculation of permutations ($nPr$) and combinations ($nCr$) for probability problem-solving.

Non-Programmable & Fully Exam Approved for Students

Compliance with academic guidelines is critical when selecting school equipment. The Casio FX-82MS Scientific Calculator is strictly non-programmable, meaning it contains no memory storage for custom text notes, programs, or cheat codes. Because of this, it is wide-approved by national examination boards, KCSE invigilators, and university departments, making it a safe and reliable choice for school tests and final board exams.

Durable 1st-Edition Build with Protective Hard Cover

Designed to withstand the daily wear and tear of school life, the Casio FX-82MS Scientific Calculator features high-durability plastic keys and a solid chassis. It comes equipped with a sliding protective hard cover that guards the LCD screen and keypad against drops, scratches, and pressure inside crowded backpacks. Powered by long-lasting button/battery operation, it delivers steady performance throughout the entire academic year.
