exam approved calculator

Casio FX 82es plus Calculator 2nd edition is a redesigned, highly reliable scientific calculator tailored to support secondary school candidates, college undergraduates, and educators across Kenya. As an upgraded version of the classic 82ES series, the Casio FX 82es plus Calculator 2nd edition introduces rounded edges, a slim ergonomic profile, and high-durability plastic keys designed for fast, comfortable typing. Built explicitly for academic environments, it delivers essential computational power for algebra, trigonometry, geometry, and statistics without programmable features that violate exam regulations.

High-Resolution Natural Textbook Display (Natural V.P.A.M.)

The defining feature of the Casio FX 82es plus Calculator 2nd edition is its advanced Natural Textbook Display technology (Natural V.P.A.M.). This clear LCD screen displays mathematical expressions, square roots, fractions, exponents, and logarithmic formulas exactly as they appear in standard textbooks and exam papers.

By eliminating confusing single-line representations, students can visually trace their problem-solving steps, edit numbers easily using the multi-replay key, and verify calculations rapidly. This drastically reduces key-press errors during timed assessments and aids deep conceptual understanding.

252 Built-in Functions for Comprehensive Math & Science Learning

Equipped with 252 pre-programmed functions, the Casio FX 82es plus Calculator 2nd edition covers all primary computing needs across secondary school and university syllabi:

• Fractions & Prime Factorization: Easily compute mixed fractions, improper fractions, simplified decimal conversions, and prime factors.

• Trigonometry & Hyperbolic Functions: Standard trigonometric operations (Sin, Cos, Tan) with quick mode switching between degrees, radians, and grads.

• Statistics & Data Table Analysis: Single-variable (x) and two-variable (x, y) statistical calculations, standard deviation, and linear regression analysis.

• Table Generation Mode: Generate numeric value tables for mathematical functions ($f(x)$) to analyze function behavior and plot graphs easily.

• Permutations & Combinations: Calculate permutations ($nPr$) and combinations ($nCr$) for probability and mathematical logic problems.

Non-Programmable & Exam Approved Across Kenya

Compliance with academic guidelines is paramount when selecting a calculator for national tests. The Casio FX 82es plus Calculator 2nd edition is strictly non-programmable, containing no flash memory, text storage capabilities, or Wireless connectivity that could violate testing rules. It is fully permitted and approved by secondary school boards, KCSE examination invigilators, and university departments across Kenya.
