Kadio KD-100B Shopkeepers Calculator – 12 Digit Desktop Calculator

The Kadio KD-100B Shopkeepers Calculator is a practical desktop calculator designed for fast and convenient calculations in shops, businesses, offices, schools and homes. Its 12-digit display provides enough space for handling larger numbers, making it useful for everyday business calculations, sales totals, stock calculations and general arithmetic.

The calculator has a desktop-style design with an angled display that allows the result to be viewed comfortably while working. Its large keypad provides dedicated keys for frequently used functions, making it convenient for users who perform calculations repeatedly throughout the day.

12-Digit Display

The Kadio KD-100B features a 12-digit display, allowing you to enter and calculate relatively large numbers without having to split calculations into multiple stages.

This is particularly useful for shopkeepers and business users who regularly calculate:

• Sales totals
• Product quantities
• Discounts
• Markups
• Expenses
• Stock values
• Daily transactions
• Business figures

The large display also makes the calculated result easier to read while working at a counter or desk.

Designed for Shopkeepers and Businesses

The KD-100B is well suited to everyday commercial calculations. Its dedicated business-oriented functions can make routine calculations quicker than using a basic four-function calculator.

A shopkeeper can use it for calculating selling totals, adding multiple purchases, working out percentages and checking figures during daily transactions.

It is also suitable for small businesses where a reliable desktop calculator is needed at a sales counter, reception desk or office workstation.

Markup (MU) Function

The MU (Markup) function is particularly useful for commercial calculations.

Shopkeepers can use markup calculations when determining selling prices based on a cost price and desired markup. This makes the function relevant for retail businesses that regularly calculate prices and margins.

The exact result depends on how the calculation is entered, so users should follow the calculator’s intended MU operation when working out selling prices.

Grand Total (GT) Function

The Grand Total (GT) function is useful when performing multiple calculations and needing to keep track of accumulated totals.

For shop and office work, this can be convenient when calculating several separate amounts and then checking the combined result.

Memory Functions

The KD-100B also provides dedicated memory functions for storing and recalling values during calculations.

Memory functions are useful when a calculation contains several stages or when you need to temporarily retain a number without writing it down separately.

Common memory operations associated with this model include:

• M+ – Add a value to memory
• M- – Subtract a value from memory
• MRC/MR/MC – Recall or clear stored memory, depending on the key configuration

These functions can save time when working with repeated calculations.

Percentage Calculations

The calculator includes a percentage (%) function, making it useful for common business calculations such as discounts, markups and percentage-based figures.

For example, shopkeepers can use percentage calculations when determining discounts or working with price adjustments.

Large, Angled Display

The desktop design places the display at an angle, making the result easier to view from a normal working position.

This is particularly convenient when the calculator remains permanently on a shop counter or office desk rather than being carried around like a pocket calculator.

Comfortable Keypad

The KD-100B has a desktop-style keypad with clearly arranged buttons for everyday calculations.

The larger desktop format is convenient for users who perform frequent calculations because the keys are easier to access than the smaller buttons found on many pocket calculators.
